Dynamic sports marketing

For many years, Dentsu has maintained solid relationships with various sports organizations in Japan and abroad. The company acquires and holds a variety of rights, from events on a global scale such as the Olympics and the FIFA World Cup™, to sporting activities in which local communities participate.
We have a close relationship with a number of organizations, including the International Olympic Committee, Japanese Olympic Committee, Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), Japan Football Association, International Association of Athletics Federations, International Swimming Federation, Olympic Council of Asia and Major League Baseball, for which we hold exclusive sales rights for broadcasting, marketing and merchandising.
Recently, Dentsu was appointed as the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games marketing agency. We hope to contribute to the success of this event through the sale of Olympic Games marketing rights.
Dentsu is also leveraging its relationships of trust with athletes to engage in business related to athlete appearances in advertising.
To this end, we continue to obtain a variety of select sporting rights throughout the world for use in client communication strategy proposals.
