Event-based communication activities are a direct way to communicate a client's message, or provide consumers with an opportunity to experience products first hand. The Dentsu Group actively promotes and organizes public and corporate events, exhibitions and conventions everything from street events and exhibition booths for consumer campaigns to internal events aimed at business partners. By providing these services the Group assists clients by supplying additional vehicles for their messages in the form of on-the-spot, interactive communication.
Dentsu has worked in many capacities with sponsors, fair constructors, and organizations at major international expositions, including the Osaka World Exposition 1970, Japan International Ocean Exposition, Okinawa, Japan Tsukuba Expo '85 and the International Garden and Greenery Exposition, Osaka (1990). Dentsu is currently lending full support to the 2005 World Exposition, Aichi, Japan, through the Expo's sponsoring association and exhibiting advertisers. For such international events as expositions and the Olympic Games, Dentsu works actively with the sponsors to ensure the most effective communications for their brands and services various media, using the event itself as "content" to support advertisers. |
