Support for Outsider Art/atelier incurve Exhibition

Appreciation of outsider art is currently growing in the modern art world in New York, London and elsewhere. In March 2007, Dentsu jointly sponsored “Outsider Art lead by atelier incurve: Exhibition & Talk Session” at the Dentsu Head Office in association with the Social Welfare Foundation SOOHKAI atelier incurve.

The goal of the event was to make the Japanese art world and journalists aware of the quality of art being produced by mentally handicapped artists, and to call on interested parties to provide patronage to allow these artists to become independent.
