Dentsu's corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities are based on the Company's belief that CSR involves undertaking independent initiatives to create value in ways that reflect economic, environmental and social needs, and that incorporate the interests of all stakeholders. By fulfilling its CSR commitment, Dentsu seeks to build a reputation for trustworthiness, raise its competitiveness and achieve sustainable development. In the process, the Company hopes to foster the emergence of a better society and stimulate the economy. We will continue such efforts as
  • The UNESCO World Terakoya Movement
  • The Mt. Fuji Environmental Restoration Eco-Communication Project (training employees to be Mt. Fuji eco-tour instructors)
  • Holding seminars to polish the communication skills of nonprofit organizations
  • Dentsu-China Advertising Study Project Fund
  • Promoting ISO 14001 environmental management system certification (49 Group companies currently hold this certification)
  • Activities to promote human rights
  • Creating an atmosphere to encourage a work-life balance for our employees
As for information security, 55 Dentsu Group companies hold international ISO/IEC27001: 2005, JISQ27001: 2006 security management system certification.
