[Human Resources Innovation]
- To secure the human resources needed for the new platform era and for a new business structure, we will implement a sweeping reform of our human resources programs.
- We will also shift to a merit-based pay system to ensure pay-for-performance, while developing diversified career paths and work-styles and enhancing education / training systems.
[Cost Innovation]
- We must secure substantial profit not just on mass media services but across the full spectrum of our services. Without it, we won’t be able to provide optimal solutions to our clients and implement them.
- We will secure gross profit in a number of ways: improving the operational process, including our management accounting; ensuring our value-adding capability and planning ability will be profitable; and implementing Group-wide cost control.
- We will also attain the cost competitiveness needed for the new era. This can be done by making a zero-based review of our back-office sections to reduce their SG&A expenses. It is also essential in this regard to reallocate human resources, while minimizing overlap in functions within the Group.
