Dentsu's annual report on advertising expenditures in Japan is an estimate of advertising spending in Japan during the calendar year (January to December), representing the advertising media fees and production costs for the traditional media (newspapers, magazines, radio and television), along with those for the Internet and promotional media categories.
Worldwide advertising expenditures, based on the data received from 59 markets across the Americas, Asia Pacific and EMEA,. The semi-annual report is compiled by Carat, the Group's media communications agency.
Dentsu and 6Estates jointly published the report which revealed the behavior and consumption habits of increasing Chinese travelers to Japan by mined and analyzed over 70,000 online data points.
