Support for the Environmental Protection of
Mt. Fuji
Every Dentsu employee has climbed Mt. Fuji at least once as a participant in the Dentsu Mt. Fuji Climb for first-year staff — a tradition dating back 77 years. Today, Mt. Fuji faces serious environmental problems. To help solve these problems, and as a way to express gratitude for the benefits Mt. Fuji has bestowed upon generations of employees, we launched the "100 Dentsu Eco-Tour Instructors for Mt. Fuji" project in 2003. The program trains employees to become instructors able to lead eco-tours to the mountain, and to teach children, who will comprise the next generation of leaders, about the wonderful, natural beauty of Mt. Fuji and the spirit of environmental conservation. |
