Angela Tangas has held leadership positions in both NYSE and ASX listed companies. She has 20 years of cross industry experience in both client facing and operational roles.
As CEO of dentsu ANZ, Tangas is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the organisation through driving business performance and growth to maximise enterprise value.
Angela has spearheaded a significant transformation program which streamlined the business by simplifying from multiple brands to three service lines in the space of 18 months, underpinned by an unwavering focus on borderless teaming.
She supports her team of 1,600 talented and diverse thinkers, makers and doers, with a firm belief that diversity breeds creativity, committed to creating a workplace that values and delivers collaboration, DE&I and social good.
Highlights of her achievements at dentsu to date include the launch of its CXM business Merkle, merging renowned creative agencies BWMD and Isobar and simplifying the media area of the business to three brands, Carat, iProspect and dentsu X and the launch of Solutions, its consulting enablement practice.
Angela is passionate about how data and technology can be used to build brands and unlock new possibilities for clients in our customer-led world. After spending a large amount of her career client based, she understands the challenges many organisations face in balancing the delivery of seamless, connected customer experiences while simultaneously achieving sustainable, profitable growth.
Under Angela's leadership denstu has grown into ANZ’s most integrated media and marketing customer solutions company.
