Dentsu Aegis Network strengthens capabilities in pharmaceutical sector with the acquisition of Aaron Lloyd
Dentsu Aegis Network today announces the acquisition of Aaron Lloyd Group (Aaron Lloyd), a full-service advertising media agency for pharmaceutical and healthcare sector companies.Aaron Lloyd incorporates Aaron Lloyd Media LLC, Media Health Division LLC and Vizeum Health LLC. Pharmaceuticals is the largest sector in the Russian media market, the acquisition of Aaron Lloyd will strengthen Dentsu Aegis Network’s expertise in this important sector.
Founded in 1999, Aaron Lloyd is currently the largest media agency dedicated to the pharmaceutical industry in Russia. Aaron Lloyd is a part of Bionika Group, which provides diverse marketing and consulting solutions to pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, covering the full range of sector needs – from Health TV production to pharmaceutical research and owned B2B newspapers. The 57-strong team of dedicated specialists serves leading pharmaceutical brands.
Yury Krestinsky, the founder of Bionika Group, is an established expert in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector in Russia and is a consultant to bodies including the SKOLKOVO Health Economics and Management Centre andthe Russian Association of Pharmaceutical Marketing. Yury‘s active involvement in strategic leadership and client development for Aaron Lloyd will continue going forward.
Aaron Lloyd’s CEO Yury Ulyashev will remain in his role post-acquisition. Andrey Chuvaev, previously CEO of Vizeum Russia, will lead theintegration of Aaron Lloyd into Dentsu Aegis Network Russia as the company’s COO.
