Chief Experience Officer of Isobar EMEA
Simon Gill is a digital stalwart who co-founded one of the first Digital agencies in 1995. During the dot.com boom he worked with a European team to architect, implement and operationalise a global digital payment network, using bank-banked digital money, to commerce enable the sale of digital goods and services. He then went on to revitalise two digital agencies, establishing their creative, experience and technical reputations, resulting in successful sales to established holding companies.
Gill joined Isobar in 2016, as Chief Creative Officer. He was promoted to Chief Experience Officer of Isobar EMA in 2018, to champion the transformative power of digital with a focus on game-changing experiences. Prior to Isobar, Simon was at DigitasLBi for 10 years, rising to the role of Chief Creative Officer, where he led the creative and experience community to many award wins across multiple sectors. During that time, he designed and delivered successful enterprise-level commerce experiences for blue-chip clients.
He is an active figure in the industry and advocates how brands needs to change, to match customer behaviour and expectations. By applying smart creativity, data and technology, to unlock new commerce opportunities, with AR, Conversational Design, DTC and marketplaces.
