dentsu

This is the first year of DIG ( Dentsu Ikigai Games) coincidentally the 10th year of the event formerly known as the Carathon.

The concept of DIG Day is all about coming together as ‘one Dentsu’ and ‘one community’ (media) to give back to the wider community we live in, while having fun doing so. DIG day isn’t just a softball competition, it’s a mix of ‘community game’ activities that brings people together. There’s something for everyone, along with a pinch of healthy competition.

Each year, a different Charity organisation is chosen to support and fundraise for and so far we’ve raised thousands of euros for our various charity partners.  DIG day is a very unique event in the calendar where our agency and media suppliers can get together to play sport, have fun and raise some much needed money for charity. Across the many years Carat and dentsu have run this event it has raised over €167,000 for charity which is an incredible achievement.

This year we have decided to split the donation money between three really worthy charities:

  • Women’s Aid
  • Pieta
  • ALONE

We are also supporting another charity partner FoodCloud, who have recently established a foodtruck - the FoodCloud Kitchen.
