Dentsu Aegis Network Extends Office Co-location to Beijing China Strengthening Service Capability Integration

Published on:

To give another push towards integration under its unique One Operating Model, Dentsu Aegis Network China has moved its brand agencies in Beijing to one site at the Genesis Beijing at the Chaoyang District. The new building now houses over 1,300 employees by May this year.

DAN China has completed co-location for its Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Beijing offices, making DAN the first communications group in China to achieve office co-location in the three major cities. This move demonstrates the Group’s ambition and determination for comprehensive integration in China.

On May 8, 2017, following much opening fanfare, DAN China CEO Motohiro Yamagishi hosted a press conference with Tim Andree, Executive Chairman of DAN and Board Member of Dentsu Inc. as well as Nick Waters, Chief Executive Officer of DAN Asia Pacific, and the talk centered around DAN’s global strategy and future vision, as well as the “One operating Model”.

Tim Andree discussed DAN’s global strategy and emphasized the importance of China to achieve those goals. He added, “This move to co-locate and thereby fostering an environment and culture of collaboration between our agencies, is critical to our collective success and importantly, delivering successful results for our clients.”

Nick contends that the client-centric One Operating Model provides clients with suitable customized solutions with speed and efficiency as it is able to efficiently identify and access the diverse services and resources across DAN brand agencies.

Yamagishi pointed out that currently more than 10 top clients are enjoying the benefits of the “One Operating Model.” He concluded, “2017 will be an extraordinary year for Dentsu Aegis Network. Earlier in the year, we won the business of Coca Cola and SAIC Volkswagen, because we were able to demonstrate our ability for innovation and integration. Moving forward, we are focused on offering innovative marketing solutions to clients with efficiency by integrating data, resources and talent to help our clients grow in the ever changing digital economy.”
