Dentsu Aegis Network’s Isobar strengthens its position in Canada by acquiring SPOKE Agency

Dentsu Aegis Network today announces that it has acquired SPOKE Agency, a leading digital creative firm based in Canada. Post-acquistion, SPOKE will become part of Isobar, Dentsu Aegis Network’s award winning full-service global digital marketing agency.

Founded in 2009 and highly regarded for its creativity, SPOKE’s progressive agency model merges strategic planning, creative and content production, experiential marketing, media planning, buying and placement for brands in the lifestyle, retail and entertainment sectors. Headquartered in Toronto, the youthful agency of more than 25 staff, also has satellite offices in Vancouver and New York.

Enhancing Dentsu Aegis’ digital expertise in the market, SPOKE will combine with Isobar Canada to create a strong team. The new Isobar Canada will be led by SPOKE co-founders Jeff Greenspoon, CEO, and Kai Exos, Chief Creative Officer. Greenspoon and Exos will report to Annette Warring, CEO, Dentsu Aegis Network Canada.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
