Vizeum wins Out of Home-Award for INNOVATIVE & AMBIENT MEDIA 2018

The Out of Home Award of the Gewista in the Gösserhalle was a great success for the team of the Vizeum!

Due to the winner selection criteria, the OOH Award is regarded as the most wanted and meaningful outdoor-advertising trophy in Austria, which is why it is all the more gratifying that Vizeum was able to convince the jury with the campaign "IKEA Catalogue 2018 - Bus stop shelters Branding".

The core of this project was to personally distribute the popular IKEA catalogue to the Austrians. A special focus was placed on Ambient and OOH actions.

In order to make the distribution of the catalogue a personal experience, promoters, promotion bikes and an entire tram stop in Vienna were used. The digitalisation played a role, as a touch screen was integrated in the bus station with an interactive catalogue.

Thus it was realized that 105k catalogues were personally distributed to customers in 8 city centres throughout Austria. The demand for catalogues was 3% higher than in the previous year. In addition, more than 77,000 IKEA goodies were distributed together with the catalogue.

This is why Vizeum was able to convince the jury and pick up the well-deserved gold medal with this outstanding campaign!
