Today, dentsu international announces the strategic senior appointment of Rohan Philips as President, Global Product, Media, dentsu international. Based out of Singapore, Philips takes on the responsibility of developing the 2025 product strategy and roadmap for dentsu clients worldwide, with imminent rollouts through its network of global media agencies: Carat, iProspect and dentsu X.

This appointment follows the announcement earlier this year of the first Global Chief Product Officer, responsible for the media business within dentsu and reinforces the commitment to product and the importance data and technology plays in driving success for dentsu clients.

In his new position, Philips will be reporting to Doug Ray, Global Chief Product Officer, Media, dentsu international, who says of the appointment; “Rohan has a strong presence and a holistic understanding of data and technology and how it applies to media.  His approach to client challenges and his ability to identify and solve these – not only in isolation, but as a transferable benefit for all is truly exceptional and really raises the bar on what we are able to offer out of dentsu.”

With over 12 years’ experience working in the industry, Philips moves into the global dentsu role having held the position of Global Chief Product Officer at iProspect and prior to that positions within GroupM and Publicis Groupe.

Philips comments on his new role; “Right now, the whole media industry is at a turning point with myriad factors influencing agency and client decisions from sustainability and privacy, through to emergence of new platforms and the departure of established tracking norms.  It has never been more critical to map, plan and build the right tools and product needed to navigate this change for us and our clients to thrive into the future. The team at dentsu know this and I’m going to be leading some exceptional media specialists around the globe to crack these challenges and it is the potential I see from the team in delivering these new products which excites me the most.”

Philips takes the new position with immediate effect. For more information about dentsu and its global media agencies, capabilities, products, and solutions please visit www.dentsu.com.
