Anindita Sarkar leads Brand and Communications for dentsu across South Asia, shaping the organisation’s narrative, strengthening its reputation, and enabling strategic storytelling across one of its most dynamic regions.

With close to two decades of experience across journalism and corporate communications, Anindita brings a strong combination of editorial rigour, business understanding, and leadership perspective. She began her career as a journalist, reporting on the media, advertising, and entertainment sectors for leading publications including Indiantelevision.com, afaqs! and The Financial Express. This background continues to inform her approach - grounded in insight, clarity, and credibility.

Anindita joined dentsu in 2015 to establish the corporate communications function in India. Since then, she has played a key role in strengthening the company’s brand presence, supporting leadership through periods of transformation, and building trusted relationships with media, industry stakeholders, and internal teams.

In her current role, Anindita oversees integrated brand and communications strategy across South Asia, partnering closely with leadership to ensure alignment between business priorities, culture, and external engagement. Her work supports dentsu’s commitment to Innovating to Impact, helping translate strategy into communications that create long-term value for clients, people, and society.
