Dentsu Global Services wins ‘Innovative Data Engineering Project of the Year’ at the Finkelstein Awards 2026

Dentsu Global Services (DGS) has been named winner of the 'Innovative Data Engineering Project of the Year' at the Finkelstein Awards for Data Engineering Excellence 2026, organised by Analytics India Magazine. This marks DGS's third consecutive win at the prestigious awards.

This year, the recognition is for DGS’s Data to Insights (D2I) platform, a core component of dentsu’s market research capability. As organisations navigate rapidly changing consumer behaviour and market conditions, they face the persistent challenge of delays in generating insights. Built entirely on Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud, D2I addresses this challenge by replacing manual and fragmented research workflows with an automated, governed pipeline, helping global teams generate decision-ready insights in hours instead of weeks. The platform allows enterprises to tap into AI-driven insights while maintaining strict control over sensitive data, a critical requirement for global, multi-market research programmes.

The results speak for themselves. In live deployments, D2I has delivered over a 90% reduction in time-to-insight, with AI-generated outputs achieving 95% accuracy, backed by built-in validation checks.

Commenting on the win, Belliappa Mathanda, Chief Business Operations Officer – APAC and President, DGS, said: “In the age of AI-driven transformation, DGS is focused on helping clients unlock value from their data with speed, precision and scale. Data engineering sits at the heart of this effort, bringing together AI, domain expertise and craft excellence to power smarter decisions. Platforms like D2I are a reflection of this focus, enabling faster, more reliable insights for our clients. It’s encouraging to see this work not only driving tangible impact but also being recognised by a prestigious publication like Analytics India Magazine. Congratulations to the entire team for making this happen!”

This recognition builds on DGS’s consistent performance in the data engineering space, having also won at the Finkelstein Awards in 2024 and 2025 in the ‘Outstanding Data Engineering Team’ category as well as being recognised as a Leader by AIM Research in its PeMa report for top data engineering service providers in 2025. As it continues to scale its impact, DGS is focused on strengthening its core engineering capabilities through targeted hiring and ongoing upskilling across global delivery teams to support future growth.
