PMI and dentsu Indonesia form partnership to bridge brands to lasting good
Jakarta, 20 May — Dentsu Indonesia and Palang Merah Indonesia (“PMI” or the Indonesian Red Cross Society) today announced a partnership that will forge greater collaboration with the private sector to better strengthen community resilience in Indonesia. The first-of-its-kind partnership will serve as a bridge to brands that are seeking to create meaningful and lasting social impact in Indonesia, for Indonesia.
A. M. Fachir, Secretary General, Palang Merah Indonesia, commented: “As one of Indonesia’s foremost humanitarian organisations, it is our mission to bring our services to strengthen community resilience. However, we cannot do this alone, and it is only with concerted stakeholder collaboration that humanitarian impact can be sustainable and scalable. It is therefore important for us to be able to work with a trusted partner that aligns with our vision while also having a strong track record of supporting meaningful impact for the society and in communities. We found that in dentsu Indonesia.”
Elvira Jakub, Country CEO, dentsu Indonesia, commented, “There is so much more that agencies and brands alike can do to spotlight the incredible, yet often overlooked, work of humanitarian organizations like PMI across Indonesia. As dentsu Indonesia marked its 50th anniversary, our deep understanding of local communities continues to drive our commitment to people-centered transformation, with purpose-driven marketing at its core. We believe that our business should also be a force for good—for our people and for society. Through this partnership, we aim to connect brands with meaningful opportunities to create lasting impact where it matters most.”
This partnership complements dentsu’s ongoing efforts in driving purpose-driven initiatives and further reinforcing our commitment to meaningful, people-centered impact through collaboration between the private sector and humanitarian organizations in Indonesia.
