Cheryl Steyn
New Business, Client & Development Manager, dentsu Africa
Cheryl is a versatile professional who has pursued her passions and honed her skills in multiple fields throughout her career. She began her journey in the performing arts where she studied Theatre Design and developed a deep love for the arts. However, her interest in dance led her to enrol at the Johannesburg Dance Foundation, where she studied contemporary and ballet. Cheryl's dedication and hard work as a professional dancer paid off as she enjoyed a successful career that spanned over 12 years.
Cheryl realised that she wanted to explore new challenges and broaden her horizons. She went on to study Brand Management at Vega School, where she learned the skills necessary to effectively build and promote brands. Armed with her newfound knowledge and experience, she transitioned in to the corporate world.
Cheryl embarked on a career in the non-profit sector, joining the Businesswomen's Association of SA, where she contributed to the organisation's efforts to empower women in business. After several years in this role, Cheryl moved on to join dentsu in 2019.
Currently, Cheryl holds the position of New Business, Client and Development Manager for SSA at dentsu.
