In his new role, Williams will lead Dentsu Aegis Network’s Group-wide approach to client management, with a firm focus on market growth and increasing client engagement across the network, locally and globally.

As Chief Client Solutions Officer, Williams will also be responsible for continuing to drive exceptional results for clients through the Networks’ key areas of capability, talent and products.

Speaking of the appointment, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network ANZ Simon Ryan said, “At Dentsu Aegis, clients are our primary focus and we pride ourselves on providing them with the very best end-to-end marketing solutions. Simon is a rising star in our network and his passion for innovation and collaboration have paved the way for his promotion to Chief Client Solutions Officer – a role that goes hand-in-hand with our unique Operating Model and 2020 vision.”

Simon Williams said, “In a Group that has such an absolute focus on best-in-market client solutions, I’m excited to assume responsibility for driving this agenda. I am passionate about stimulating change and, in my new role, I will be committed to continually challenging the way we approach client solutions to keep Dentsu Aegis Network at the forefront of the industry.”

The Chief Client Solutions Officer reports directly to CEO Simon Ryan and Williams becomes a member of the Group’s Executive Leadership Team. The role is the first of its kind for Dentsu Aegis across the APAC region.

Williams was previously Group Head of Product & Partnerships for Amplifi – Dentsu Aegis Network’s specialist investment and media management arm – and has worked with the Group since 2011 in Australia and the UK. During this time, he has amassed extensive experience driving transformational products, performance and partnerships.

Williams commences as Chief Client Services Officer on Friday 6th October.
