Job Description: Growth Intern

Level: Growth Intern (Students at the BSc or MSc level)
Role Purpose
As a Growth Intern in dentsu Strategy you will be introduced to the fundamentals of solving problems related to commercial growth strategies. You will gain valuable hands-on experience supporting client projects. This includes contributing to problem-solving, research, analysis, project management, and internal capability development. This internship is designed to provide you with a structured learning environment to explore areas such as commercial excellence and growth-related strategy, and marketing effectiveness, while providing hands-on exposure to real-world business challenges.
You will collaborate closely with senior consultants and team members to help deliver high-quality strategies and recommendations that are focused on maximizing the commercial value for clients. The goal is to introduce you to foundational skills to succeed in management consulting, including how to work effectively with colleagues and clients. You will receive mentorship and feedback throughout the internship as if you were hired as a Growth Associate in our team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy Development
- Assist in developing strategies across product, pricing, distribution, marketing, and brand.
- Create structured excel sheets and presentations and summaries for internal and external use.
- Help manage projects and ensure timely delivery of tasks.
2. Research and Analytical Support
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks for our clients.
- Gather, synthesize, and interpret data to support evidence-based decision-making.
3. Collaboration and Capability Building
- Participate actively in team problem-solving, workshops, and training initiatives.
- Support internal strategic projects, including thought leadership, sales support, and marketing.
Qualifications and Experience
- Academic background or relevant coursework in economics, business, strategy or related fields
- Solid analytical capabilities and the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights, combined with strong interpersonal skills.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn about commercial, growth and marketing strategy.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
- High degree of self-motivation, curiosity, and adaptability to a variety of work, tasks, and teams.
