Dentsu Named One of HR Asia’s Best Companies to Work for in Asia for Second Consecutive Year
Dentsu has once again been recognized by HR Asia, one of Asia’s leading human resources publications, receiving the 2026 HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia award for the second consecutive year. The group also swept all special awards—People Transformation, Tech Empowerment, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Sustainable Workplace—making it the only marketing communications group in Taiwan to win across all special award categories. The achievement reflects dentsu’s long-term investment in talent development, employee experience and organizational culture.

A total of 330 companies participated in this year’s awards, with only 10 receiving all special awards. In addition to being named one of Asia’s best companies to work for once again, dentsu was recognized across every special award category for its comprehensive people practices, workplace culture and future-ready capability development, underscoring the group’s sustained commitment to talent and employer branding.
Jennifer Tang, CEO of dentsu Greater North Asia and Taiwan, said: “Talent is at the heart of dentsu’s continued growth and innovation. Being recognized by HR Asia for the second consecutive year and receiving all special awards show that our long-term investment in people and culture has translated into a workplace experience that our employees can genuinely feel. This will continue to be an important force behind our organizational transformation.”
Authentic Employee Feedback Reflects Organizational Culture, Workplace Experience and Team Connection
The HR Asia assessment reviews not only the human resources policies and practices submitted by participating companies, but also incorporates the TEAM Survey, conducted among randomly selected employees, to understand their engagement and connection with the organization, their individual work experience and their teams.
The TEAM model evaluates three dimensions—Core, Self and Group. These respectively cover organizational culture, leadership and policies; employees’ workplace experience, motivation and actions; and team interaction, trust and collaboration. Together, the dimensions provide a comprehensive view of the employee experience.
In this year’s survey, respondents recorded an overall engagement and connection score of 91%, measured as the Engagement Level. dentsu scored above the market average across all three dimensions—Core, Self and Group—reflecting broadly positive feedback from respondents on the organization’s culture, individual workplace experience and team collaboration.
Dentsu performed particularly strongly in areas including physical and mental wellbeing resources, opportunities for skills development and professional certification, and flexible working arrangements. In the team dimension, respondents also rated the organization highly for enabling employees to express differing opinions freely, encouraging colleagues to support one another, and fostering team trust and belonging.
Rodney Huang, Human Resources Director, North Asia, dentsu, said: “An ideal workplace is built by listening continuously and translating employees’ needs into policies and everyday practices. We will continue to strengthen wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, professional development and technology capabilities, supporting talent from different backgrounds and at every stage of their careers.”
From Employee Experience to Future-Ready Capabilities: Deepening Talent Development Practices
In response to changes in working models and the ongoing transformation driven by sustainability and technology, dentsu continues to strengthen its people practices across employee care, diversity and inclusion, workplace sustainability and technology empowerment. The aim is to create an environment in which employees from different backgrounds and at different career stages can contribute with confidence and continue to grow.
Supporting Wellbeing at Every Stage of Life
dentsu provides comprehensive physical and mental wellbeing support through its Employee Assistance Program, wellness leave, annual health checks, group insurance and flexible working arrangements. The group also continues to strengthen childcare and family-care support, responding to employees’ needs at different stages of life and helping them balance personal wellbeing with long-term career development.
Turning Diverse Perspectives into a Source of Organizational Innovation
Dentsu embeds diversity, equity and inclusion into its people practices and everyday culture, ensuring that employees of different genders, backgrounds and life experiences can participate equally and express themselves with confidence.
Carat, a dentsu media agency brand in Taiwan, became the first company in Taiwan’s media communications industry to be recognized under the Taiwan LGBT-Friendly Workplace Index. dentsu also applies its marketing communications expertise to public-interest initiatives addressing women’s rights, gender equality and the prevention of technology-facilitated sexual violence.
Building Measurable and Scalable Sustainability Practices
Dentsu integrates sustainability into its daily operations through lower-carbon food choices, green commuting and energy-efficient workplaces. The group works with EasyCard Corporation to quantify carbon emissions from employee commuting, while its new office has achieved LEED Gold certification.
Dentsu also transforms its internal experience into professional capability development. Through its partnership with the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE), the group advances professional training in sustainable marketing, helping marketing practitioners incorporate sustainability into business strategies and brand decisions while strengthening the industry’s capacity to respond to environmental and social challenges.
Putting People at the Center of Technology and Talent Transformation
As AI rapidly reshapes the industry and the way people work, dentsu has established a five-level AI capability framework spanning foundational literacy, business applications and strategic leadership. Employees are supported through structured courses, professional certifications and opportunities for practical learning and knowledge exchange.
At the same time, dentsu provides talent and leadership development programs tailored to different career stages, strengthening cross-disciplinary thinking, team leadership and strategic integration. This people-centered approach enables technology to amplify professional judgment, creativity and individual impact.
Putting People First to Build a More Resilient Organizational Culture
Being named one of HR Asia’s Best Companies to Work for in Asia for the second consecutive year and receiving all special awards represent an important milestone in dentsu’s long-term investment in people and culture. The recognition also highlights the group’s proven capabilities in talent development within Taiwan’s marketing communications industry.
Looking ahead, dentsu will continue to listen to employees and deepen its efforts in employee care, diversity and inclusion, learning and development, technology empowerment and workplace sustainability. Through a stable and resilient organizational culture, dentsu aims to create an environment where people want to join, continue to grow and make an impact, while supporting the shared growth of clients, the industry and society.
