Beth Ann is CEO, dentsu North America, leading the US and Canada operations. In this role, she is focused on accelerating dentsu’s evolution into a modern marketing and business innovation partner—one that brings together creativity, media, and customer experience to drive growth. Her vision emphasizes clarity, speed, and measurable results, leveraging dentsu’s strength in connecting data, content, and technology to deliver meaningful brand and business outcomes.
She previously served as Global Chief Commerce Officer and CEO NY at VML bringing together creativity, media and technology to drive business and cultural transformation for brands. In her role she was responsible for growing the agency’s Commerce Practice and Enterprise Solutions globally, working with clients such as The Coca-Cola Company, SC Johnson, Colgate-Palmolive, The Ford Motor Company, Haleon, and more across sectors.
Beth Ann’s belief that Commerce holds the most untapped creative potential to grow brands and people has led to new and industry-defining creative commerce experiences that harness data and technology to build both brands and sell products across channels. She has helped shape and define Creative Commerce for the industry, partnering with brands to champion a new type of creativity that connect brand, sales and media teams. With commercial impact and effectiveness always her end goal, she has built new growth models that value simplicity and accelerate commerce capability within organizations to drive business and brand performance.
Her 25+ years of experience spans all areas of retail and marketing, serving as Global CEO of VMLY&R Commerce/ Geometry, Global CMO, Westfield Corp; CEO Kantar Consulting; the first female CEO at TracyLocke in its one-hundred-year history, and founding member of a successful startup purchased by Omnicom. She has been recognized as an AdAge Women to Watch, member of WPP's X-factor, and juror for prestigious programs such as D&ADs, EFFIEs, and co-creator and President of the 2022 Cannes Lions Creative Commerce category.
Beth Ann graduated with a BA from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School and an MBA from Boston University.
