Jean Lin

Global Chief Brand Officer, dentsu

As Global Chief Brand Officer of Dentsu Group Inc, Jean Lin leads dentsu Group’s global brand vision, positioning, architecture and brand portfolio strategy. She is also the Executive Sponsor of the Group's Data & Tech and AI Forum.

Jean is a global marketing leader operating at the intersection of creativity, data, technology and sustainability. After starting her career at WPP, her journey spans thirty years across multiple regions: from entrepreneur and founder of digital agency wwwins Consulting (Isobar), which was later acquired by dentsu, to various dentsu global agency leadership roles including, Global CEO of Isobar, Global CEO, CX and Commerce and Global CEO, Creative of dentsu International. In 2021, she became a member of the Executive Management Team at Dentsu Group Inc, serving in multiple global leadership capacities, including Executive Officer of Dentsu Group Inc developing Sustainable Business Solutions, and Global Chief Culture Officer leading one dentsu culture strategy. Most recently, as Global President, Global Practices, Dentsu Group Inc., Lin led the simplification of the global practice organization and structure, establishing integrated solutions and frameworks designed to deliver sustained, client centric growth at scale.

Lin is a highly respected contributor to the global marketing and communications industry. She serves on the Effie Worldwide Board of Directors and its Executive Committee, the D&AD Advisory Board, and has been appointed Jury President at Cannes Lions on three occasions (2015, 2018, and 2023). She has also served as Jury President at D&AD (2021), Spikes Asia (2022), and Grand Jury for the Gerety Awards (2022).
