Noritaka Omi
Global Chief Transformation Officer, dentsu
Noritaka Omi is dentsu’s Global Chief Transformation Officer.
In this role, he leads dentsu’s group‑wide transformation agenda, focused on accelerating the evolution of the International Business. He partners closely with regional, practice, brand, and corporate function leaders to drive sustainable growth, structural simplification, greater agility, and deeper client centricity. Omi has responsibility for Global Corporate Strategy and Global Business Operations, as well as oversight of Global Enterprise Technology and the Global CEO Office. He ensures alignment between global strategy and business execution, with technology playing a central role in how the organisation evolves and operates.
He was first appointed to the Global Management Team in 2023 as Deputy Chief of Staff to Global CEO and Head of Global Corporate Strategy Office, where he helped shape the one dentsu operating model. In 2024, he was appointed Global Chief Business Operations Officer, establishing the foundations for operational excellence through globally consistent data and processes, and enabling performance improvement through data‑driven insights. In 2025, his remit expanded further when he became Executive Sponsor for Dentsu Global Services, the group’s global capability centre, ensuring it scales effectively and becomes a core part of dentsu’s operating model.
Prior to joining the Global Management Team, Omi joined Dentsu Inc. in 2000 and spent 13 years in client leadership roles, managing major global accounts in the Japanese market. He later was involved in dentsu’s acquisition of Aegis Media in 2013, and subsequently relocated to London to take on roles spanning financial planning and analysis and strategy development for global clients from 2015-2018. After that he undertook several corporate strategy roles in Tokyo from 2019-2022 including Chief Director of Global Corporate Strategy Team.
He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Tokyo and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
