Yoshiki Ishihara
Chief New Ventures Officer, dentsu
Ishihara joined Dentsu Inc. in 1999. His career started in the Media division, followed by approximately 20 years of building up a track record of achievements in the Business Producers division. Following two years of leading the Corporate Planning division, he transferred to Dentsu Group Inc. in 2020 and became a member of dentsu's Group Management Team as Chief of Staff in January 2023. From January 2024, as Global Chief Strategy Officer, dentsu, he led management strategies and group-wide business development from a mid to long-term perspective while contributing to sustainable growth for dentsu. He also concurrently assumed the APAC Lead and worked on the turnaround and the enhancement of competitiveness of its business.
From March 2026, he serves in a new role as Chief New Ventures Officer, focusing on sharpening dentsu’s strategic growth by enabling deeper integration of high-potential global capabilities and accelerating new business ventures that build on dentsu’s unique position and strengths. He is responsible for driving initiatives end-to-end—from early exploration to scalable growth—to build dentsu’s next core revenue pillars. His focus areas include Sports & Entertainment and next-generation technologies, where he leads new growth ventures and global expansion, including advancing initiatives from the group’s R&D organization, Dentsu Innovation Initiative (DII), from research into business creation and scalable growth.
