Dentsu supercharges its Swiss digital media capabilities

Zurich, 16 February 2021 - Dentsu has today announced reinforced digital capabilities with an elevated Digital Media offering for its clients in Switzerland. With this move, the Swiss market-leader further strengthens its idea-led data driving capability and tech enablement with more holistic and integrated services for digital across all channels.

The augmented Dentsu Digital Media portfolio combines digital paid advertising, social media, and a boosted digital performance offer, favouring an end-to-end service approach that deals with the entire customer journey. The offer delivers added value for brands, taking care of consumers at all stages from awareness and conversion to business performance.

Dentsu Media CEO, Jonas Eliassen says that the move means better service for its clients, integrating media, data, and digital at every step.

“Our clients are looking for holistic media strategy without the complexity and silos of traditional media versus digital, versus data and performance. Especially now in the context of COVID there’s a need for a more seamless integration that balances the dependencies of on- and off-line media. This move helps our clients with faster, better decisions and results across the customer journey”.

Pierre Celimene joins the group in Zurich as Managing Director leading the new digital capabilities team and working together with Sam Ekbatani, Social Media Director, who joined the Swiss Media group last year.

Celimene says, “We treat digital media as a holistic offering that’s more consistent and integrated. Our team helps clients by leveraging all parts of the digital ecosystem: for example, focused on traffic acquisition (both paid and organic) and conversion rate optimization, but also focused on taking care of our clients’ business performance - from brand-building and digital strategy to KPIs and results”.

The investment is part of Dentsu Switzerland’s continued move to simplify the way it works, giving clients full access to the Dentsu brands and network. In November 2020 Dentsu announced the integration of Isobar Switzerland and Namics – A Merkle Company, two leading full-service digital agencies in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria, which are rebranding as Merkle.
