Dentsu Aegis Network changes name to dentsu and expands board

Ruud de Langen has been appointed Chief Growth Officer of dentsu Netherlands. In this new role, he will ensure that existing and new customers have access to the best integrated solutions that the network has to offer. The agency network also announced that the global organization previously known as Dentsu Aegis Network will now continue under the new name dentsu.

This name change works to unite all 66,000 employees worldwide, and brings the organization closer to dentsu Japan, the birthplace of the network. This change follows a period of transformation for the international company, aimed at simplifying the service offering to three business units: Media, Creative and CXM. Thanks to this development, it is even easier for dentsu partners to unlock new opportunities for growth and business transformation across the entire customer journey.

Chief Growth Officer

The new global company structure andsimplification of the range of services offered  will be given shape in the Netherlands by the appointment of Ruud de Langen acting as Chief Growth Officer. De Langen is part of the board of dentsu Netherlands, which also consists of Mark van Dijk (CEO), Monique Benda, (HR director) and Saskia Bielderman (CFO). Within the management team, De Langen will be responsible for the growth agenda and further accelerating the integrated service offering for all customers.
