Dentsu is the big winner at the 2024 AMMA Awards

On 16 May, the Annual Masters of Media Awards, or AMMA Awards for short, were presented at the Royal Theatre Tuschinski in Amsterdam for the 23rd time. In a sold-out theatre, the best media and marketing achievements of the past year were awarded in 13 categories, spread over four domains.

This year, dentsu won 4 out of the 7 nominated cases, including the prestigious award for 'Agency of the Year'. A great recognition for our staff and our amazing clients, as well as all the fantastic publishers and creative agencies we work with.

The AMMA jury on dentsu: "With its consistent positioning and decisive market approach, dentsu has put itself firmly on the map in recent years. The agency shows impressive figures in terms of revenue and client growth, but also stood out above the other entries when it came to promoting good employment practices."

In addition to 'Agency of the Year', we also won in the following categories:  

  • Best Media Strategy (Heineken & dentsu): Heineken’s omarming van Nederlandse gezelligheid (in collaboration with Boomerang Agency, Le Pub, We Are First, Sunshine & Sausages, Newslab, Kantar);
  • Best Content & Engagement Strategy (bol & dentsu): Hoe bol blije koppies creëert met een magisch Sinterklaasfeest (in collaboration with Dept, MeMo², Jabadoo, DPG, de Reclamefabriek, Bright River, FemmeFab);
  • Advertiser of the Year (bol & dentsu): Hoe bol met lef en focus de jongere doelgroep opnieuw aan zich heeft weten te binden (in collaboration with Dept, &.agency en MeMo²).
