Challenge
Charles Sturt University (CSU) had reached a point where their fragmented suppliers across analytics, data management, paid media and owned media personalisation and optimisation was no longer meeting the organisation's requirements or performance goals.
Solution
They started their journey only seeking an agency to manage their SEM account. Accordant came with a response which broke the mould and opened CSU’s eyes as to how they could be better managing not only their SEM account, but the marketing journey through all channels.
Beginning the partnership at the start of CSU’s Mid-Year campaign, Accordant was faced with the challenge of taking on a new Higher Education account during peak student intake. Working alongside CSU, Accordant utilised the data they knew about the different audiences to ensure each were targeting at the right point, with the right message.
This was all underpinned by Adobe Experience Cloud technology. As an Adobe partner, Accordant implemented the Adobe technology to immediately showcase the power of the technology.
With the help of Adobe Media Optimiser, the Mid-Year Campaign resulted in a +127% year on year lift in online applications and a 32% reduction in cost per online application. These factors also drove a +346% increase in conversion rate.
Now showing results that reflect their vision of 1-1- personalised student communications, Charles Sturt University has demonstrated that they are on the forefront of the education industry in their digital maturity.
Result
This integrated approach across paid and owned media channels delivered significant business impact, namely for the CSU Mid-Year Campaign which resulted in a +127% year on year lift in online applications and a 32% reduction in cost per online application. These factors also drove a +346% increase in conversion rate.
