Dentsu Aegis Network takes #1 spot in Global New Business

Media agency group Dentsu Aegis Network is number 1 in attracting global new business and retaining current clients in COMvergence's study released this week.

In the study COMvergence combined all agency groups agencies new business values together and took into account losses by the groups. Dentsu Aegis Network owns media agencies Carat, dentsu X and Vizeum, and took the number 1 spot with 3 123 million US dollars. Carat climbed the #2 spot in individual agecies list globally and was number one in EMEA, Europe, Middle-East and Africa regions.

The momentum of Dentsu Aegis Network generating new business is also seen in the Adriatic region, where Dentsu Aegis Network won the trust of new clients in 2019 in record numbers and was able to retain in multiple defensive pitches.

The report evaluates media agencies’ strengths and weaknesses via 18 criteria across 670 media agencies in 46 countries including New Business Activity, Competitiveness in pitches, Momentum, Specialist Resources and Client Profile.
