Dentsu’s iProspect Bolstering Strategic Capabilities with Key Senior Leadership Appointments

Published on:

Toronto, Canada – (March 29, 2022) – As part of our ambition and commitment to deliver to our clients the most modern media offering in the market, dentsu Canada announced today three key leadership appointments at iProspect – the group’s full-funnel, performance-first media agency.

These appointments further dentsu’s strategy to champion meaningful progress for clients, helping them win in the digital economy. These new leaders will enable dentsu’s group of media agencies, and more specifically iProspect, to realize its focus on accelerating the industry-leading agency’s media offering, driving growth through innovation and fuelling collaboration with other dentsu agencies and offices across the region.

Tracey Johnson is promoted to the role of Managing Director for iProspect Canada, leading the brand’s overall operations in the market. Tracey is tasked with accelerating growth for clients’ business with an emphasis on making every moment count throughout consumer lives.  An agency veteran, Tracey has built a reputation on her strong business skills and ability to foster teams.  Tracey will join the Canadian Media Executive team. “I am excited to lead such a smart and passionate team of individuals who share in my vision to elevate our offering by showing our clients the true value of partnership, collaboration and growth through innovation.” said Tracey Johnson, Managing Director, iProspect Canada.

Ruth Murray is promoted to Managing Director, West, iProspect Canada – and will also play a significant leadership role with Tracey in scaling the new iPro brand. Ruth brings a diverse Vancouver perspective to the leadership team and propels some of iProspects most coveted client businesses, BC and A&W. Ruth’s strategic thinking and nurturing spirit resonate profoundly with clients and teammates.

Angus Robinson is promoted to VP, Media, iProspect Canada, partnering with the iProspect teams to ensure dentsu continues to create winning client strategies. Angus is a thoughtful, caring and highly detailed strategist – always data-led in brilliantly crafting media activations for a diverse set of clients. In his new role at iProspect, Angus is charged with developing performance-driven brand-building solutions, and offering our clients unparalleled accountability to positive outcomes.

“At iProspect we believe that every moment counts, and brands are built with a better orchestration of moments said Danielle Gonzales CEO iProspect North America. “Our leadership in Canada each share a unique perspective and ability to understand the radical shifts in consumer behaviour.  They have accountability, performance and human insights down cold - exactly what the new iProspect requires to capitalize on its impressive integrated service model.”

“As the continued convergence of the media landscape puts pressure on the remaining silos in our industry, agencies, now more than ever, need to challenge the status-quo. As the pace of change in consumer behaviour continues to accelerate, integrated, digitally native full-funnel solutions are paramount to win. In appointing Tracey, Ruth and Angus to their new roles, we are celebrating three hybrid leaders who expertly understand the foundations of the media business, while at the same time are agents of change who are not afraid of taking risks to transform the role a media agency can play to be relevant, and value-additive to our clients.” said Jeff Greenspoon, President Solutions Americas & CEO dentsu Canada.
