Bailey joined dentsu in 2016 and operated in senior client roles for iProspect’s Global and UK operations before becoming Managing Director and then interim CEO for its London and Stafford offices. Before that he was Head of Business Development at Maxus UK and completed stints at MEC (now Wavemaker) and TradeDoubler.

He will continue to work with the existing iProspect and Vizeum leadership teams which includes Steve Buchanan and Michael McCoy as the two agencies continue to come together.

Bailey will report into Hamish Nicklin, CEO – Media, dentsu UK & Ireland.

Hamish Nicklin, CEO – Media, dentsu UK said: “We constantly strive to provide our clients with access to the best talent, capabilities and resources. And it’s this belief that has fuelled the integration of Vizeum and iProspect. James has consistently demonstrated a collaborative leadership approach and ability to help clients solve their business challenges through performance-led media strategies. Backed by a brilliant leadership team, I’m looking forward to seeing the agency go from strength-to-strength.”

James Bailey, CEO, iProspect UK said: “If you were going to build an agency right now for the challenges and opportunities of today, it would be the new iProspect. It brings together the perfect harmony of expert specialisms in digital, data and technology with long-term brand planning. It’s an immense source of pride to lead the new iProspect and its hugely talented team.”
