Hamish Nicklin joins Dentsu Aegis UK to head up Media offering
5 February 2020, London: Dentsu Aegis Network has appointed Hamish Nicklin as Executive Director – Media for UK and Ireland.
Nicklin will be responsible for leading the commercial growth of the group’s Media line of business by continuing its tradition of offering clients’ services that are built seamless access to the network’s full range of capabilities. This includes overseeing the development of the agency brands that make up the Media line of business - Amplifi, Carat, dentsu X, iProspect, and Vizeum - with their respective leadership.
Nicklin joins the business from The Guardian News & Media where he spent three and a half years as Chief Revenue Officer. There he has played a pivotal role in executing the business strategy that has brought sustainable growth despite a challenging marketplace for publishers. This success has brought industry accolades both as a team as Campaign’s Sales Team of the Year and individually with recognition as a top three commercial chief in the industry.
Prior to that he held senior roles at digital business AOL and Google following a stint working in the financial sector.
He will report directly to Euan Jarvie, CEO, Dentsu Aegis Network UK & Ireland, and Peter Hujiboom, CEO, Global Clients & Media Brands, Dentsu Aegis Network.
