Dentsu Aegis Network names Chief Data Officer

Dentsu Aegis Network today announces the appointment of EE’s Head of Digital Products, Maddie Armitage as its Chief Data Officer for UK & Ireland. 

Maddie will oversee the network’s strategy for data and analytics, working with all its agency brands to improve the products and services that they offer to clients. This includes fully leveraging the power of Merkle for the network, and the continued rollout of the people-based insights, planning and activation platform, M1.  

She willreport into Matthew Hook, Chief Strategy Officer, UK & Ireland, while also collaborating closely with the EMEA data team, which is led by Lauren Walker, Chief Data Officer, Dentsu Aegis Network EMEA.

Maddie brings an innate understanding of the challenges that clients face in the digital economy having previously worked as Head of Digital Products at EE, and led the digital transformation for British Gas. She has also held senior digital roles at Sky, Virgin Media and cloud company Rackspace.
