Patrick Affleck heads back to London to lead Fetch UK

Fetch, the global mobile-first agency today announced its appointment of Patrick Affleck as UK CEO. Patrick will report into Matthew Platts, CEO of Media Brands, Dentsu Aegis Network. He replaces Jo Sutherland who joined Carat as UK CEO in April.

Patrick will lead a 100-strong agency team with experts across digital and mobile media, creative and analytics, based out of Fetch’s global headquarters in Shoreditch, London. Patrick will be tasked with furthering Fetch’s goal to attract and become the most valuable partner for digital economy brands. 

With a combination of strategic planning, digital expertise and fueled with passion for finding new ways to build more exciting connections between brands, Patrick is the ideal hire for the agency which already counts Facebook, Hulu, Mozilla, lululemon, AEG Presents, Shop Direct and The Telegraph as clients.

Patrick moved to the USA as EVP of digital and innovation at Vizeum USA in 2015 and helped to secure the Fox Broadcast business, one of Vizeum USA’s largest media client. In 2016, he became President of Vizeum USA, before moving into a role as Managing Director, Media for 360i New York. In this position, Patrick was responsible for setting the overall product vision and direction for the 360i media operation, and played a role in landing a number of high-profile new business wins for the agency which included Shiseido (digital AOR), Hudson Bay, Sonos and Plated. 

With a media career spanning some 18 years with a stint at ZenithOptimedia, he launched a number of high-profile initiatives for Vizeum including Circuit, Vizeum’s global planning process, as well as Spark, a collaborative program with start-ups designed to solve client business challenges.

Meanwhile the Founder of Fetch, James Connelly who moved to Executive Chairman earlier in the year continues his role in the business, and work more closely with the Dentsu Aegis Network UK leadership team.
