Dentsu named as a Working Families Top 30 Employer for third consecutive year

Published on:

For the third consecutive year, work-life balance charity Working Families has awarded dentsu a place on its prestigious list of the top family-friendly employers in the UK. Now in its twelfth year, employers large and small from across the public, private, and third sectors compete annually to gain a coveted place on the charity’s list of Top Employers for Working Families.

Employers were assessed using Working Families’ Benchmark and were scored on four key areas to build a comprehensive picture of their flexible and family-friendly policies and practices that specifically support mothers, fathers, and carers.

dentsu was the only marketing services agency to be included in the list.

Anne Stagg, CEO, CXM at dentsu UK&I and Executive Chair of the Parents and Carers Committee, said:

“Juggling work and home is always a delicate balance but adding in home schooling, caring for poorly or elderly parents, navigating the challenges facing teenage children, this year has been a lot for our teams to manage.  We wanted people to know dentsu is here to support and help them in whatever way we can. We set up regular drop in groups and had huge attendance sharing our experiences.  The ideas shared helped us evolve how we support people from flexible working or time off, to not arranging meetings over school pick up and drops off.  Many of the changes we made are now being incorporated into our future ways of working and I’m excited to be part of the team ensuring we lead the way as a family friendly employer for many years to come!”

Jane van Zyl, CEO of Working Families, added:

“After an incredibly difficult year for employers and employees alike, we’ve been blown away by the high standard of this year’s entries. If anything, it’s been more competitive than ever, as more and more employers realise just how vital it is to offer flexible, family friendly policies and a positive, inclusive culture to attract the most diverse talent. I’d like to congratulate each and every worthy member of our Top Employers list 2021”

We provide free legal advice to parents and carers on their rights at work. We give employers the tools they need to support their employees while creating a flexible, high-performing workforce. And we advocate on behalf of the UK’s 13 million working parents, influencing policy through campaigns informed by ground-breaking research.
